i am well aware this has been done loads and loads of times by loads of people but just an idea for those who havnt seen or heard of it

end of viv being door and a sheet of perspex/glass on front like a window ideal for snakes you want to be able to see 100%clear and just makes a tidy looking viv in my eyes ....heres a few pics of mine i amde today outta scarp melamine i ahd and some perspex i had lieing around :
its 2x1x1 as a horizontal viv or its 1x2x1 as a arborial viv

not very easy to get in and clean it if your door is at the end. More chance of getting bitten as you're blocking all escape routes for a snake

only done this as seen it at a mates and as i use newspaper substrate its fine for me as ive decided to house my retic in there which i will be remvoing from the viv with a hook anywayz and cleanning is easy the perspex on the front just simply unscrews it was just a easy and free method tto make a viv so thought was better than chucking the wood out ,im not suggestin for otehrs 2 make it ,more to show ways of making good se fo what you have instead of just chucking it away

thanks ,Adam

EDIT* which as is being for a reticulated python will be easy 2 clean floor whatever ways as its gonne be the horizontal way ,thanks and then once the retic outgrows the viv ,i will probably house one of my young cf royals in there so is ok for what im housing and just better than chucking it away i mena if youd ruather chuck out scrap wood then fare enuff but to me this is much better use for it .

well done and i know sliding doors r so much easier thats why my other vivs r sliding doors but why pay for that wen i could do thsi for free in my eyes it hasnt gotta be all fancy or sh** a vivs a viv it does what it needs to do houses the snake well,,holds heat, has enuff room and allows me to see my snake if i want to through a nice window on the front i wasnt expecting it to be an amazng viv its just a "viv" it does what i need it to do
lol

and unscrewing may be a pain but it only takes 2 minutes and when horrizontal i can acces enuff easily to clean the viv and if i cant as i say ill just unscrew it
