Default Survey for habitatlovers

Hi guys,

As of july 1st I've started a petshop in Belgium. It isn't a new one, I bought it from someone, but they never sold terrariums/reptiles/...

Now I'd really love to push the reptilescene here cause I know there is demand but not a lot of people selling here in Belgium.

As for custom terrariums; how do you guys like it when you enter a store?
Would you like buying pre-designed terrariums over empty terras?
By how much would prices go up if a terra is fully designed with 3d background etc.?

Don't really know exactly what questions to ask, just want some general advice on what you like and what you dislike in reptile shops.

Thanks in advance!

3x leopard gecko adult
10x anolis carollnensis
2x python regius baby
2x cornsnake baby

Welll obviously keep the stock of beardies, leos, cresteds etc, people always want them.

You get some different things? Some agamas are good, small and nice to look at. Stenodcatylus?

Personally, I like there to be the option of pre-made vs empty vivs/terris.

When I bought my first leo I would have loved to have been able jsut to pick up a viv with all the bits (vits, heatmat, stat, etc) ready for me. You often see the "basic leo kit" or "complete start reptile kit" but they miss key bits which, even as a noice, i noticed so could not trust them.

As for decorated vivs, I would suggest just keeping your stock reptiles great decorated vivs with fake backgrounds etc and use this to display your kits. Have notes on each viv saying that you can supply a fully decorated viv with £x. People will look into the vivs and then think they want it and see the note.

Im so poor at English :P

Are you not keeping a few Ts? I know my local reptile shop has 5 or so Ts in stock, hardly sells them, but are great to bring people in. They often get them out and show people.

Oh and baby beardies are so cute and adorable!!!! And great to watch. People love that!

Will put up the pics tomorrow if I don't forget my cam once more
Today I've also been building a leopard gecko background with hides and all the fun stuff. First layer of grout is on and I'll put those pics up as well.

Can't wait for the comments once I've posted them, hopefully ya'll like it!

Guess what! I didn't forget my cam for once. Here are some pics of my store. Do keep in mind that this is a petstore with a reptile add-on, so not a full reptileshop.
Who knows what future brings and how it'll expand, but for now this is what I got.

Feel free to give tips/advice or just your thoughts.

Store:

Reptile room:
Green Iguanas and Green Water Dragons

Cornsnakes

Anolis

Leopard Gecko

Bearded Dragon

Phython

Scorpions
