Default Paintin viv?????????

Hi just built a viv for an australian waterdragon and just wondered wat paint i could use inside the viv to make it waterproof and last as i have put a waterfall and water section in there?

No paint will do the job well imo but you should use yacht varnish as a last layer over your paint, that should do the job.

im pretty new so sorry for the daft questions so if i just use yacht varnish inside that will be fine? it wont harm the reptile at all? or flake off because of the humidity? oh and wat logs can i put in there?

What about milk paint? I did a bit of research a while back - apparently it gives off very little fumes. I never used it, so I don't know what it's like though.

pond sealer ive heard is good and as its used for fish i would assume it would be safe for reptiles

Yacht varnish won't peel as it's intended to get wet. Years and years down the line it will need doing again as it's been in salt water but a viv is perfectly fine. It's non toxic, just make sure you air the viv out for a couple of days before putting the lizard in.
