Fake rock build help

I've got waterproof pva, do i need to water it down before applying it? Also how many coats should i put on? Thanks

maybe water the first layer down so it gets in all the cracks etc but i slapped it all on mine give it a good 2=3 coats depending on thickness

Why thank you, i shall of course make sure that all cracks are filled
