Default Sealing fake rock

I have built a fake rock background for my fat tail gecko and wanted to know what is the best and safest way of sealing it.

Hey Keith, I'm not sure if this product is available in the UK or not (you may be able to find an equivalent?) but I swear by Bondall 'Pondtite'
PONDTITE

It dries clear (though a bit glossy for my liking) and is water-based, waterproof. It can't be used over painted surfaces though, so the best way around it is to buy the coloured oxides from hardware stores and mix them into your final coat of grout.
cheers, John
