It's all down to personal preference. I don't house my BRB's together, but then again, I don't house any of my BCI's or corns together either. People do co-habit, it's just not something I would do unless I was planning on breeding.

should think feeding wise....there is a valid point to the feeding issue, but i have and would do again house together...(prepares for the blaze of no no no !!)sometimes the opportunity arises to add to collection but viv space is restricted...
if you house together just be sensible around feed time, and keep eye on temprements

I have experience of both, I house some seperately (royals) and have some housed together (corns & rainbow boas) the corns and boas are breeding pairs.... but no problems at all. Feeding time is always easy and as long as the viv is large enough then both pairs seem quite happy to share.
If I saw any slightest hint that there was a problem with any of them I would imediatley seperate for health and saftey reasons. I think it depends from snake to snake? ......... I'm not recommending it - it's just my experience

The way I've always thought of the risks are, firstly feeding - If they both decide to go for the same prey item. There's the risk of injury to either/both snakes.
Then there's the dominance issue - I would've thought that one of the snakes would be the most dominant securing the best hide/heat source/water for itself leading to stress in the other snake. Regurge / dodgy poo - who did it? How would you know which animal to treat? and if one gets ill, chances are they both will. And, if you get 2 seperate snakes from different places or at different times and put them in the same viv, there is no quarateen there. The new one could have mites or some underlying health issues that again, could be passed on to a well established pet. As I say, some people do it, that's their choice and just because their opinions differ to mine, it does not make them wrong. These are just my reasons against it lisa

Thanks everyone for their advice and experience, for my example i am getting 1.1 from the same place, and if i do decide to co-habit them i will have 2 hides. I also feed all my snakes out of their vivs individually.
Its definately something i will think about and i will let you all know what i decide nearer the time, its only 6 weeks till pick up ![]() Thanks again everyone ![]()

I had a breeding pairs of corns which i housed together for over a year i only seperated them to feed them before they went back in viv. After the female laid second clutch of eggs the male started bossying her around because she got smaller than him. so i seperated them. I think you can house snakes together as long as you keep an eye on them. ive heard stories of 'for' and 'against' co-habiting but at the end of the day its peronal choice i think.
