Default Acorns in my aspen?

Hi

I bought a new bag of aspen for my corn snake - opened it up and it was full of acorns!

Has anyone else ever experienced this before?

Is it normal?

Thanks

How weird

Definately not normal never had anything stray in my aspen but saying that I have had a red clawed crab on a piece of wood before. That was the oddest store return ever.

I thought it was odd!

Out of 10 ltr aspen i must have found about 25 - 30 acorns!

Bizarre!

Oh my god that's crazy! What did you do with them?! Where did you get it from? Will be a bit suspicious about opening my next bag!

You should complain to the suplier as it shows poor quality controll.
After all, next time it could be something toxic to your pet.

I bought it from a shop local to me that i hadnt been to before - it was a last minute panic buy as my snake pooed everywhere and i didnt have any at home.

I took the acorns to the shop along with the bag but they said i couldnt prove it had been in the aspen so they wouldnt refund!

Just threw the lot out and went to another shop.

Wont be going there again!
