Hi lads and lassies...
I've just completed my set up for a CWD. I've run it all day yesterday.. I notice the wood above both heat lamps gets very hot. Is there any tricks to lower this? Any heat reistant sheets or something? Avice much appreciated... Michael. |

I have an electronic ballast and 3x50W halogen spots in a fake ceiling which is made out of waterproof plywood.
Gets rather hot, but no risk of fire afaic... it's been running like that for 2 months , now problems to be noticed... |

i was looking into what to do today with my viv as it gets very hot above the heat lamp.
just ordered some self sticking heat reflective strip of ebay which will do the job and only a few quid for 3 meters by 50mm. should do the trick and reflect more of the heat downwards where you want it. |
