I'm building a 3/4" thick plywood vivarium measuring 40" X 20" X 18" (height), and it seems like the Microclimate 250 watt AHS would be a perfect heat/thermostat unit.
Would the area where the unit is mounted tend to discolor because of the heat, and would the animal kept in the vivarium be safe if it were to come into contact with the unit's metal housing? Thanks for your help! |
