Default help cwd viv

i going to build a new viv for my water dragon and wont to know is beach timber ok to use i have a load from a job i just finished thanks

beech is absolutely fine. expensive, but non toxic and doesnt cause any problems. the dust can cause respiratory issues if breathed it in, but the actual wood is fine.

thank u the wood did not costa penny so that good is ply ok for the backs its going to be a corner viv with drawers under it thanks agen

ply is fine for the back. youll probably need to seal all of the wood inside to protect it from humidity though. yacht varnish will do the trick.

I'd be inclined to seal all the internal joints with silicon seal to keep water out and deprive mites etc of a hiding place.
