Default need ideas!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!

i have finally completed my collection (for now) and i would like some ideas for decorating my vivs i would like to start with my 1st ever geckos viv which is a L30"-H15"-D15" thinking of doing a hill by the right back corner and having a wooded home kinda thing on top and near the front i am going to make like a stone trail with a little pool by in and wont to make a cave looking box for the nesting box and a tree stump for food

then i am goin to do my royal viv which is L36"-H18"-D12" thinking of doing like inside a cave looking not sure on this one.

as anyone got any pix of there vivs and what i can and cant use etc

thanx

i always like to replicate where the animal comes from, in my front room ive got an amazon tank, an african tank and a northern african viv, sorry no pics, not only do you find that the enrichment you want to add is perfect for the species adaptations but you learn so much more researching, especially if you add native plants, non toxic of course to that species. you will also find that they often display the most interesting behaviour when kept in an environment their adapted for!

Good luck!

Hi,

I like to try and replicate the natural environment as much as poss. Here are some pics of mine and Lotte's vivs, the plants aren't strictley the right ones from the animals natural hibitat, but I think they look good.

Crestie viv

Hognose viv

Sand boa viv

Leo's come from the mountains of Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran, you would be better going for a rocky terrain with grasses
