Default How to run 2 heat lamps?

Hi there,

Have just built a custom viv, and have a 600w thermostat running a 250w ceramic heat lamp. This isnt enough to heat the viv to correct temp as it is quite large. I understand that you can run two lamps off the thermostat, is this as simple as just plugging them both in to the thermostat via a 2 gang adapter? Also, i am using a 5 amp fuse for the lamp fitting, is this correct? Hope you guys can help!

yep, its that simple.

just ensure the total load ie wattage is within the stats range and that the probe is central to both heat sources.
