Default what size glass for 4mm runners?

I am building a viv stack and have just fitted the runners. so all i need now is the glass which i shall be getting next week. what size glass should i use for 4mm runners. shall i use 4mm or 3mm. Just unsure of whether 4mm will be too tight and 3mm will be too loose. Thanks in advance

4mm runners have a internal width of about 5.5mm in each channel.

i work with a lot of sheet plastics and stuff, and the amount of times i've been asked ''errr, which is 3mm and which is 5mm?'' is astonishing.
i always say ''well the 3mm is the one that's 3mm, and the 5mm is the one that's a bit bigger than the 3mm''.
