Hi
We have a nearly 6 foot high vivarium, around 2 foot wide. We are currently struggling to find a decent, effective way of heating it. We have a active uv heat bulb for him during the day and a 2ft 120watt tubular heater at the bottom which isn't kicking out hardly any heat so were getting rid of that. We were thinking of getting a 500 watt Microclimate AHS heater, but I was told it wouldn't work. Any ideas? Do I just go for a higher wattage tubular green house heater?? Thanks Kym |

I just use a heatmat across the back wall but half way up the viv(on a stat)or another way is on the side wall again half way up the viv and they will find where the best sleeping position is for him/herself.
tube heaters are ok in a viv but again i would put it half way up because he will sleep at the top so theres no point having it down the bottom where he wont feel it. |
