building a viv out of a wardrobe.

Im worried about fitting glass sliding doors, where to get the glass, price etc.

Ive heard perspex is a cheaper and easier option. But i was wondering more about the safety issue (the occupant getting out)?

depends what you're going to put in there

try your local glasier for a quote on 4mm toughened (work out the dimensions you need first) 40 quid or so? depends where you go and how big glass you want I think

im splitting it but the majority of will hold a royal python

go for 4mm glass from glass merchants they will cut it to size you want and ask them to take sharpe edges off, if you want 4mm glass runners let me know as stock them

with such big glass doors you may be better of with 6mm toughend glass but its like double the price ithink

i think he's splitting into several vivs not one big one

ah well if theyre two 3foot vivs 4mm toughend glass will be ok,also perspex holds heat and humidty and doesnt smash but it scratches easy
