new to the game would apreciate advice

Hi ,i'm Russell and new to the hobby of keeping exotic pets, i've only really kept and bred rats and various tropical fish over the years , but having inspected a friends collection or scorpions ,stick insects and spiders i was captivated with them, i therefore intend to start with some stick insects, but i'm unsure which ones to start with, probably one's that can feed on bramble as i have tons of the stuff at the bottom of my garden, i would like ones that get quite large , any advice on what types to keep would be much appreciated, also if you could recommend people who supply them it would be great as i'm also new to internet forums and i'm still trying to find my way round the RFUK one,
