Default Just arrived from South Africa :)

Hi all. Im a brittish guy that has been living in South Africa for quite a while. My wife and I have just moved to Manchester.

I have had a few different pets. We had to give them all away when we moved here which was so heartbreaking. We never sold any, we gave them away to close friends who we keep in constant contact with.

We had the most adorable Beardie in the world. She went everywhere with us. Her name is Abby. We had her from being a tiny 3 inch baby until she was almost 2 years old!

We also rescued 2 baby beardies with broken tails. I kept one and a friend too the other. The one I kept was called Jinx. He did really well considering the size and state he was in when I got him.

We also had a pair of Namibian Ground geckos which laid eggs. They had the cutest babies ever! The pair was called Lily and Marshal from HIMYM

And our 2 mixed breed dogs, Bella (cross staffie/spaniel) and Izzy (cross sausage/jack russel)

We just want to settle in here as we have only been here for 3 weeks, then we will be on the hunt to be reptile parents again.

Over here you are allowed basically any reptiles. In Cape Town, South Africa you are not allowed to have most reptiles. Even Beardies and Leopard Geckos are illegal

Hope to receive a warm welcome

Mark

Abby:
This was our baby :'(

When we first got her

Then she grew up to be this beauty!!

I made her a lovely viv!

Then there was baby Jinx with his broken tail:
see how tiny he was!!

But he grew up and his tail didnt bother him.

Funny sleeping position hey! lol

Next my Giat ground geckos, mum and dad, then babies

Then last, but by no means least... Bella and Izzy:

We miss them all so so much!!

Thank you for reading!

Thanks for teh welcomes

Yeah they are too strict in Cape Town. I had my beardie flew down from Jhb. But after having one, you start to find out everyone else who has them And trust me there are loads down there!! Hehe.

Cant wait to start a reptile family over here now

There is a reptile pet shop around the corner here, and 3 in oldham road.

thetong6969, any recommendations where to go? Viv decorations, feeders etc.

Later!
