african praying matis

hi all quite new to invert, been wanting a praying mantis for a while bought the whole setup and one came up just over a week ago quite cheap so i bought it, but he hasn't eaten since i got him, he shed about a week ago and is now what i would say is fully grown he has got wings and is about 3.5in to 4in long but wont touch anything i give him he just shy's away, ive tried flys, crix, hoppers, moths, but wont touch a thing any help would be really helpful.

The praying mantis will very often attack and eat things much larger than herself,including frogs and lizards.Adult and small mantis will eat anything that does not eat them first.They will kill moths,bees,beetles and horseflies,which is what makes them a friend to humans.

with last sheds if you think it is they tend not to eat coz they are dieing, if you over fed it could be he might shed, insects can slow their metabolism down to allow them to go without food for awhile as long as 7 days ,
