hi mate,

i'm unsure on the scientific name as who i am getting it off said it was a p. sp. 'blue leg'

he is away at the moment so i cant ask and find out either, i know i should of asked while i was able to contact him

just out of curiousity do pampho's generally require the same care?

may sound stupid but i've never kept any pampho's so have never really read up on them, just seen some beautiful pics

cheers...

I would have thought it is P.antinous Bolivian AKA steely blue leg.I keep most of my Pampho's the same, and it seems to be working well for me,some do require higher humidity than others, but as a general rule of thumb, just spray the tank a couple times a week, and have a water dish in with them, keep at temps of 70-80 and they should be fine
cheers...Neil

Hi,a very nice choice of spider they will make burrows, but they are on show alot of the time,if im right in thinking,my Bolivian P.antinous was a little more shy than my Peruvian P.antinous.alot more faster aswell, they tend to be more slender than the Peruvian variant, and they dont grow anywhere as big as the Peruvians either. The set-up you have described sounds perfect Just give its tub a spray once or twice a week, and it should be fine.By the way...who did you buy it from??
cheers...Neil
