Default Male Mexican Red Knee, ready to breed, Suffolk

I have a large male Mexican red knee for sale, He comes with a wooden viv and lighting, decor included. As far as I can tell he's just about ready to be mated, his hooks are huge!
If you need any other details feel free to ask. Buyer collects from Brandon, Suffolk, or I can deliver to certain places for a small charge, please let me know where you are and Ill see if I can deliver there.
I'm asking for £100 or nearest offer. Thanks.

That price seems very steep mate, i have an adult female but wouldn't want to pay out that much on a male that won't last that long as a pet and might not even last with my female :/

Im presuming that the tank it comes with is worth at least £70? Pics of tank would be appreciated...

how long ago did he moult and hook out?

To be honest I doubt you will get more than about £20 for him, even if he's freshly moulted. If he's been mature longer than about 3 months, he's no good for breeding anyway.

Maybe you should try doing a 50/50 loan with somebody? Because in all honesty i doubt that anyone will pay you that much for him as it's also a risk for whoever buys him and that's a lot of cash to lose if the female thinks he looks tasty....

I wouldn't bother with the 50/50 idea, I've loaned 4 males in the last 2 years and not got 1 back. 1 was eaten (fair enough) but the other 3 never bothered getting back to me or returning the T. Sometimes I think its a ploy to get a free T.

I know they live for years but I read that Brachy males need to be used when fresh, which is why it's hard to get sacs from Brachy pairings because of the low likelihood of having a fresh male available at the right time for mating a recently moulted female. I can't remember where I read it, but maybe that person was mistaken *shrugs*
