I sent 21 snakes out last year and the temp unexpectadly dropped to -5.
Fortunatly all arrived safe and well.
The thead is here if anyone wants to read it.
With proper packing and good quality heaters you give them the best chance of arriving safely if you are caught by an unexpected cold spell.
But it is always best to wait till the temps are warmer before sending animals via courier.

I've got a clutch of roach live food and two Ornamental slings awaiting delivery, I don't think they will be here for a good few weeks yet.

the animal's (even the livefood) welfare takes priority, I am more than happy to wait for however long it takes.

Good to see this post got stickied!

I had waited since before xmas for my 2 g.pulchripes slings but the person I bought them off decided to send them the day we got snow. In hindsight I should have told them to wait a bit longer, it didn't bother me. Luckily 3 days later I got them from the depot where they'd thankfully been the office which was nice and warm. Again though, nice to see this post stickied
