Default bearded dragons together

my BD's are about 6 weeks old and live in the same viv. at what age do you have to seperate them? they havent been sexed yet and the pet shop said they need to be about 6 months old for them to find out.

Basically.. you should seperate at about 6mths old.. unless you spot either one being bullied.. Not growing at the same speed not getting enough of the food. Obviously if they are both girls and they get on well together then there is no need to split them.. If you have male and female they will need to be split asap after that age because males mature faster than females... If they are brother and sister they should be split and not breed. Two males together a deffinate no no after about 6 months of age and possibly before you may notice some bullying.

thanks for that, they get along really well at the moment but was unsure at what age, they arent related so we are hoping they are male and female (fingers crossed )

A friend of mine successfully keeps & breeds dragons in community
no sign of dominance..at all

there are many factors to consider....size of habitat, multiple basking sites
feeding schedules

it can be done without any harm at all to the dragons in question
