painted agama care
here is a painted agama care sheet because i think theyre wonderful!!!
housing
you can house a pair of painted agamas in a 3x2x2 viv effectively with a couple of hides, one in the hot end, one in the cold, a basking rock and a water bowl in the cold end. the substrate should be sand or newspaper but i use sand because it looks good.
heating and lighting
they need an under tank heater, a basking lamp and a 10.0 uvb bulb. the temperature at the hot end should be 90-100f or 35c and 75-85f in the cool end. at night, a drop to 60f is ok as they are desert lizards and they can live in the cold leave the uth on for a gentle background heat.
feeding
painted agamas should be fed every other day with 6-8 appropriately sized crickets which should be dusted with supplements every other feeding. they can also eat mealworms.

please give feedback on this caresheet
