Right, this is a really really hard thing for me to type, so please bare with me.
Littlefoot is approximately 18 months old. She's gorgeous and a little wriggly, but a gorgeous gecko.
She is an assist feeder, if you leave food in her viv she won't be able to catch it, I have to feed her daily with livefood on a plastic spoon/tweezers which she will happily take. She has sight problems and cannot target her livefood if left to roam about a viv.
She is on critical care formula which I put in her water daily, and she has a mixture of crickets, small locusts and waxworms (all live) which I hand feed.
She is not to be force fed, she will happily take her food from a spoon/hand/tweezers, but it will take her a few shots to actually lock on to her food.
She needs someone patient.
She is underweight approx 35 grams (will weigh again tomorrow)
I suffer from Chronic fatigue syndrome, and feeding her daily is becoming difficult as well as doing the rounds with the other animals.
It is an extremely hard decision for me to make, but I'm sure that out there, there is someone who could give her the lease of life she needs.
I have been mulling over in my head what the best course of action would be, whether to have her put to sleep (i know

) or to soldier on, or to find her a new home.
I think finding her a new home with the right person could bring her back to good health, someone who is more experienced than me with Leopard Geckos could really help her out.
She has shedding problems and I have to bath her after she sheds her body, as she retains a lot around her feet and some of her toes aren't in perfect condition.
I have not neglected my Leo and I really have done the best I can for her, but there will be someone else out there who will be able to do a lot better than I could, and I have made the decision to look for that person.
I am not going to rehome her willy nilly, I would like to know peoples experience with Leos as I don't want her to end up in the same position as she is now. In a home where she is just looked after as a pet, and survives but doesn't "live". I'd like her to be kept alone, and she is never going to be breeding material.
Feel free to reply to this thread with your experience or via PM
She is collection only as I would like to meet the rehomee and due to my M.E. I am unable to drive.
Many thanks for reading.
