Well they aren't impossible to buy but not easy, but yes you certainly can buy them if you have the right money! Always wanted a Gila myself and a Komodo but I think I'll stick to the beardies and uro's for now lol.

You can definitely get Gila monsters in the UK, although you would need a DWA license to keep them.

To keep a Komodo you require a Zoo licence but for the Gila Monster you just need a DWA and alot of money. I have only seen Gilas for sale twice in the UK and they where £900 each and beign sold as a pair.

Real shame realy as i would love one of each lol

There are quite a few people keeping Gilas and beaded lizards in the UK you see them for sale they are about £1500 each, but they are definately about. DWA license needed though as others said.

The Komodo, very very hard to get although its a common myth that you need a zoo license, you dont.
