Default Bosc Monitor (suffolk/essex)

For sale I have a Bosc Monitor. I dont know what the age is but its around 40cm long.

It has wonderful Markings and is very healthy.

I picked it up today from a friend who needed to get rid of it or she would have been evicted. Because of this she was prepared to get rid of it without to much worry of where he was going.

For this reason I have homed him for the moment and am looking for a suitable home for it.

These lizards are NOT for beginners in my oppinion.
Athough I have handled it, it needs further taming as it appears to be fiesty.

They do grow very big around 4-5 feet long and require a very large enclosure. When adult I would suggest a 6L x 3D x 3H being a minimum.

At the moment it is being fed on roaches and small rodents.

I would prefer someone who keeps monitors already to have him or at least has experience in them.

I will be looking to release it one week from today. This is just to make sure it is feeding ok before I pass it on and to quarenteen it, as I have only picked it up today.

I am asking £50 for it and there is no vivarium. I am also in no rush to sell so will keep it for as long is needed to find a suitable home. If someone has monitors or has previous experience and a correct set up etc then I may budge on the price as a suitable home is more important than the money.

As ive said it is a lovely looking lizard and I wish I had the space to keep it, but my room cannot hold any more reptiles LOL

These are two pics I've taken and ill put some better ones on once its settled in.

Ok if I dont find a decent home for him on here by this coming weekend, I have found a reputable reptile store that will take him.

So any offers or experienced people please contact me before saturday as he definately will be gone by then.

I would rather I found permanant home for him on here rather than a shop, but lack of interest forces otherwise.

Did not get round to getting to shop, so he will most likely be taken next week.

One more week of bumping for this lovely little guy.
