This was a bit of a surprise pairing, as Mica, the mum, arrived gravid. Based on the percentages of babies and from speaking to her previous owner, I believe the dad was a Hypo Snow het Trans. This does throw up some problems with the genetics of the babies - the dad was either a visual Hypo or a het Hypo, which will make the babies either 100% het Hypo or 66% het Hypo. So far around 50% of babies hatching are visual Hypos, and her previous owner thinks that only one male who Mica came into contact with fits the description, and he was a visual Hypo - all of this points towards the babies being 100% het Hypo. These first babies are 100% het Trans, and are almost certainly 100% het Hypo. I'll have a limited number of Hypo het Trans and Trans het Hypo babies available over the next couple of weeks. I'm based in Chester, just at the end of the M56. If you're not able to collect in person, I can usually arrange a specialist courier to deliver to your door. All babies have been raised on a mix of supplemented insects (crickets, roaches, locusts, beetles) and greens. They are kept on tile or paper to make sure there's no risk of impaction. As with all of my young dragons, if you're new to beardie keeping then (space permitting!) I'm happy to hang onto one for a few weeks to give it a chance to get a bit bigger before you move it to a new home! Drop me a PM, send me an email (andy@hadesdragons.co.uk) or give me a call on 07505 446 826 (evenings are best!) More details can be found at UK-Bred Bearded Dragon Morphs for Sale - Hades Dragons UK ![]() HSMI091-1 Hatched 22/9/09 6" Female* DH Hypo* Trans (Standard) £80 Her colours are developing with each shed, and she should be a nice adult. She carries great genes for breeding coloured Hypo Trans beardies! ![]() HSMI091-2 Hatched 22/9/09 6" Male Red/Yellow DH Hypo* Trans (Superior) £100 Very nice colours already - the reds usually get even better with age. A Hypo or Hypo Trans version of him would be absolutely stunning, and he carries all the right genes to produce one! Like him mum he's quite smooth, so would be ideal to breed to a Leatherback to get some really tiny-scaled Hypo Trans babies. ![]() HSMI091-3 Hatched 22/9/09 6.5" Male Yellow DH Hypo* Trans (Superior) £100 Very nice yellow colours, in contrast the the red tones shown by a lot of the clutch. With the right female he could produce stunning Citrusy Hypo Trans babies. ![]() HSMI091-9 Hatched 22/9/09 6" Male DH Hypo* Trans (Standard) £80 Nice red tones which should continue to develop as he grows. He has quite faint sidebars, which may disappear completely as he gets older. Last edited by HadesDragons; 09-11-2009 at 10:37 PM.. Reason: added new baby |
