Hope to help here Liz,

This is a pic of the tegu for sales sister who is roughly 2 years old.

Her in her origional, temp viv which was 4 foot to give you an idea of size. George is roughly the same size.

He is a bit darker and his nose slightly blunter. He's in perfect health.
Also, anyone looking at this, I have met George and his bite is not as painful as you'd expect. It was also my own fault I got bitten- I am too used to my own tegu who has never bitten as shes used to being handled and wasn't careful. He will not bite unless it is a last resort- he will run first. I'm also certain he would tame down alot with some TLC. You'll also have a head start as when you first move them they are shy and wary- so much easier to handle, before they "come out their shell". He would make a lovely pet and my golden tegu has been the most rewarding pet I have had. She will feed right out of my hand and used to sleep under my pillow when let out for a run. Now she's found a warmer spot lol. You would not be dissapointed! I promise you that. He is absolutely stunning and once out of his viv was very calm and let me check him over and stroke under his chin etc. Just wish him and mine were unrelated!!!

Good luck with everything Liz.
