Baby Chinese Water Dragon For Sale (Basingstoke)

i am selling either 1 or 2 of my trio of baby Chinese Water Dragons. they are 7 months old and captive bred, i bought them from a chap called Graeme Main in Scotland, he breeds them. they are beautiful dragons, very bright green, tame enough to handle but they will often make a run for it off your arm and climb the furniture. they are as attractive as any i have seen anywhere else, if not more so, they really are stunning CWD's.

I have a trio of siblings, i am looking to sell either 1 or 2 of them as they need to be split up and they need larger vivariums, and i bit off more than i could chew and cant supply enough space for all 3 of them now. in hindsight it was a bad idea to get 3, i should have just got 1 or 2 and then added another 1 or 2 adults later on.

they are in perfect health, as said they were captive bred (unlike most of the captive farmed ones the shops sell) and i have had them for over 5 months now. no parasites, no health issues at all, they shed their skin regularly without problems, they eat anything that moves (roaches are their favourite), and they are very active, climbing, swimming and jumping around their viv all day long. they have no toe damage, no tail damage, all their spikes are fully intact, one of them has started to get slight snout rub but it is only scale damage at present and every time it sheds the nose goes back to its normal appearance, the other not so much, but still very minor marks showing. they need to be split up into larger vivariums to stop this from getting worse, hence my reason for selling 1 or 2. in the past couple of weeks they have started to want out of the vivarium a lot more because 3 of them in the space available is too much.

of the 3, the 2 i am willing to sell are pictured below. i will sell either one, the angry looking one with its chin puffed up is the more interesting of the 2 though. normally its the most active and the most willing to be held. but it doesnt like the camera and puffs its throat up everytime i take a photo of it. normally it isnt that aggressive. both are currently in the middle of a shed as you can probably see on the pictures. their colours are normally even brighter and greener than they look in the photos! il try and get some more pictures in a few days once they have finished shedding.




i am looking for £40 each but open to sensible offers. ideally i want at least one gone within the next week or 2 so if you can come and collect fairly quickly then just make me an offer, im not going to refuse a sensible one. im reluctant to sell them at all, but it would be selfish for me to keep the 3 and not supply them suitable space to live healthily. for now i can only accomodate 1, possibly 2 at most.

im based near Basingstoke and collection will have to be made from my house, reptile couriers are welcome though if you live too far away to come yourself.

P.S. here is a picture of all 3 taken a few weeks ago when they werent in shed. this is their normal colours, vibrant green. they also all have orangey/pink throat colouration now (note the camera disliking one on the bottom of the pile lol)
