Default Cresties at Serpentus Exotics

I was lucky enough to spend a chunk of yesterday playing with some of the crested geckos of Serpentus Exotics in Townhill, and I think I'm sold. I never really "got" the appeal of cresties until I had a chance to really meet some. Nicola's babies are all a credit to her ... puppy dog tame, glowing with health, and absolutely beautiful.

Now I just need to find a space to put a tank, and keep my name on the list for babies

Here's a few piccies I took while I was down there:

It's TownHill (not TownHead) in Dunfermline

I know Nikki's really does take care of her cresties and all the animals they have in Serpentus.

Fantastic pictures

LOL ... I knew it was Town-something, that'll teach me not to check! I've edited it anyway.

They are fabulous things to take photos of, they're such sweethearts and so interested and curious about everything.

Lol.

They do look really cute.

My partner and I have 2 Leopard Geckos but hope to expand our little family soon. Think my partners wanting a snake.

What else did you see when you were at Serpentus?

They have a nice selection of corns up there at the moment, and a few other things that are a bit interesting - I must admit I spent most of my time either chatting or with the lizards. Breeding season at the moment and they've got some lovely pairings going on snake wise though.

You know you want to buy a snake now Laura ... go on

Lol, sounds like my partner and I.

We normally go in for a chat, have a wee look at the leo's and have a nice cup of tea or coffee lol. They're just really nice people.

If only we could but we have others things to do with our money first =(

So do you fancy getting a crestie then?

I'm definitely going to have to work out somewhere for a tank of them to go, yeah. Possibly just the one, as males don't live well together do they?

Not an expert on Cresties myself.

Know more about leo's and I know leo males don't like each other lol, so it might be the same for Cresties and it might not be???

Not very good am I

Never noticed the cresties last time I was down there (it was a flying visit) but I'll be sure to take a look next time. I'll try my hardest not to see them close-up or I'll end up wanting them. Cresties are gorgeous.

I think sometime in the near future I'll get some living up on top of the beardie viv.
