why so many threads on this mixed species setup?

4 cats(felis domesticus)
0.1.0 chilean rose tarantula(grammastola rosea)

for one its mixed species, what is the benifet(sp) of this apart from not using more than one viv?

I hope someone sticks you in with a rhino , a large gorilla and a few man eating tigers and we shall see how you do in a mixed species enclosure
