Hi , yep its my own she,s quite friendly , iv also got another younger one around 3ft

is it a baby one your picking up?

yes babyish ,my last one was very skittish and i believe this one is the same .

am i right in thinking that it is best to start the handling process when they are a bit older?

i also have a young nile what do you reckon maintain but at arms length ?

My younger one is a bit skittish still but will eat off the forceps , they do tend to calm down with age , obviously the more time you spend interacting with them the more used to you they get and the more secure they feel the more confident they become as for the nile there notorious for there temperaments so !!!
