They're Capra. I keep a spot on the branch at 24c, the dimmer stats switched itself off most of the weekend, rooms been getting to 23-24c

If you don't have room for a water dragon (like me) then i'd recommend them. What temps your room getting up to?

My room can soar up to 27-28c
but ive had a chat to someone who kept them in him shop and he said you could use a simple computer fan or a fan made by lucky reptile and see if i can get the temps down to 23-24 as he said if you keep them too hot, theyre slowly dying. Theres a shop a few miles away from me that has captive hatched acanthosaura lepidogaster and I had put my name down on one but changed my mind because of temperature worries.

Nice dragons though

I personally would aviod them if your room is that hot...these guys hate hot temps and circulated air.
when i first imported some i kept them in the living room around 27c and these guys were jsut getting too hot, so i rigged up a cooling sysytem of mine fans from the back of a portable fridge. this just makes them even worse...they like the air stale but not stale enough to cause bactiera....so i moved them into my room under my attic where max temps are 23 degrees and coldest are 16c. they started to thrive much better. and was getting eggs every year from them

great pictures mate, they are stunning lizards, deffiently one of my favs

Luckily for me the room doesn't get too warm, on hot days last year it got to 24c so i knew they should be ok.
Ive had them for just over a month and both are doing well, love earth worms with the odd wax worm and cricket.
My vivs 3ft tall by 2ft wide, the male makes most use of the height, female sticks to lower branches.
She'd laid eggs in the shop the day i picked them up but haven't had any since.
