Default Went for locusts and ended up with this little BD!

I went to my local rep shop today to stack up on live food.

Whilst I was there I noticed this little BD, his foot is missing and he has a tail nip. The shop owner said he eats and gets around well so I couldnt resist giving him a loving home.

Ive brought him back and introduced him to my other 2, to see if theyll get along. The other 2 have ignored him so far so I guess thats a good sign. I have a spare viv incase they end up bullying him.

Heres the pics anyway...

And heres a pic of my others now...

What a cutie.
Most people always recommend going for a lizards with all his feet etc etc.
I've always had a soft spot for ones with problems/deformaties (nothing life-ruining ofcourse)
I get a kick out of giving them the extra care they need :P

He looks real happy
Nice to know he's got a nice loving home now well done!

I would really have recommended quarantine first - especially as he has come from a pet shop. Might be an idea to get a fecal done asap in case he has anything to infect your others. But he does look sweet and I'm sure you'll give him a great home.

He was in a quarantine tank in the shop, must of been from when his foot was bitten off, but your right I will have to put him in my spare viv and get a test done, its just a shame cos I didnt want him being alone. Or is it too late now?

er, they're solitary animals anyway, they don't particularly like having other dragons around them xD
they're fine on their own.
they're not exactly a communal lizard.
but each to their own.
he's not smaller than your other two is he? xD

He's smaller than the other 2 but older by 3 weeks...if that makes sense. I guess he is the runt of his hatchlings.
They will all be seperated in a few months anyway, depending on what sexes they are...

they should be fine for a bit, just keep an eye out for one dominating over the other.

Theyre from Dunelm and are 65p lol. Go to the bit where all the loose artificial plants are and they should be around somewhere. I cut the large stem off and stuck them in a foam holder which Dunelm also sell. Make sure u wash them in boiling water as they have a chalky substance on them.
I think someone posted a msg on here not long ago about artificial plants (£3.99 for Ivy etc) and bogwood (£1.99) from Dunelm....worth a look.
