yeh im really pleased with them. So much for only getting one lol.
Doesn't matter how many pics i take, none of them seem to do them justice. The little cream one is currently fired up bright yellow and the dark one has gone orange! lol xx |

Hi Gecko Girl, first of all congratulations, they look lovely, and healthy too.
From your pictures, I would say the first one is a definite flame, with some tiger patterning. My Hannibal has this when he fires up, check my thread, I call him a flame tiger. This could well change as the little one gets older. Do you know how old they are roughly? The second one defintely looks like a Harlequin Looks like the little one might fire up a right little stunner ![]() At the end of the day, morphs in Crested Geckos can "change" due to them being polygenic, and the fact that there are some "main" or "popular" markings that have been distinguished, some crested geckos develop "outside the box" markings with a mix and match heritage further down the line, and their markings may also change as they get older. This is the only way to get passed it. Is it really so hard to do some reading, use some common sense and ask a few questions BEFORE you buy the animal? ![]() |

Oooo cool! didn't know that lol
Im sooo pleased to have them FINALLY! picked em out weeks ago so Im just glad they're still healthy nd happy. Their big tank came yesterday nd at first i thought it might be a bit big for them atm, but then i put them in nd they loved it! Always exploring nd sleeping in weird places lol. Yeh the little one flares up gorgeous! so bright! and the dark one stays dark but his markings go orange lol. They are both just so lovely and are already great with handling. They have even taken to their new diet of CGD with no problems. in fact, they love it! so happy! xx |
