Default My Crestie

Haven't posted any pics in a while, so thought I would. And, considering they were taken on my phone, they aren't too bad So here's Jasper, my partial pinstripe flame crestie, who is now 12 months and possibly female... yeah, if I'm lucky!

Aye I sometimes think that. It's just, sometimes he appears to have a bit of a bulge but then most of the time there's no bulge? I don't know what it is, but either way I haven't found any pores with the magnifying glass yet (am yet to get my hands on a loupe). But anyway, I would never be so lucky as to have a crestie turn out to be female!

a loupe is your best friend with geckos,

since i stole my dads printers loupe, the last four cresties i bought as juvies all turned out female!

yippeee!

but you could try a real closeup macro shot with a digital camera and zoom in on the pores.

You're right there, this one's a right little character! Always wants to come out and always exploring when he does. He didn't really eat much livefood at first but in the past few weeks he's really taken to crickets so I'm expecting a little growth spurt! Aww I like pink tongue skinks, they're cute. Don't worry though - I'm sure you'll be getting a crestie soon

Thanks I don't care if he is male or female as I have no breeding plans... Probably in the future though! He was my first lizard and I'll always love him

Haha, I'll have to try and get my hands on a loupe then - or a digital camera (mine broke a while ago!). But wow, four females - someone won the crestie lottery I'd never be that lucky! Bad luck just seems to find me
