she's lovely
its seems strange any lizard turning down a locust all our lot go crazy for them (with the exception of our new crestie Nugget who we haven't tried with locust yet)we feed black crickets mainly giving locusts and a few mealworms occassionally. but maybe she's never had locust before

most tokays will refuse locusts once they have been fed black crix, i have had a few that have lived on locusts but once in my care they have had black crix and have since then refused to eat a locust, tokay just seem to prefer black crix in my experience

Locusts arent in the natural habitat of tokays, theyre a desert insect and tokays are rainforest, that said I dont know is crickets live in the rainforests

i think it is all based on the colour of the food, they will hunt what they instinctivley see as food and as they wouldn't normaly see locust they are a tad wary of them whereas crix (esspetially blacks) resemble the food they would naturally hunt. there are a varient of crix in the rainforests but browns don't cope well with the humidity, although saying that the blacks don't seem to do that bad with the humidity in my experiences as my tokay vivs run at 70-80% constant whilst replicating breeding season and i've chucked them in for feeding in a morning and still seen the odd one floating about in the morning.
