Default My new CWD setup finally! PIC HEAVY!

Well after about 2 month of work, here it is!!

For a size comparison here is me sitting inside it before it was finished!



Finished result.









Heres a close up of there basking shelf i built





Heres a few shots of them sleeping together





This is my first time owning cwd's so any comments and advice welcome! The tank stands 4 1/2ft tall, 3 1/2ft wide and 2 1/2ft deep.

looks amazing mate they have loads of space love the basking shelf but you need to put a guard on that bulb!!!

Yeah im planning too, just not to sure how to do it yet becuase of the way its fixed to the viv. Think im going to need to get the hacksaw out!

ahh i see it is at an angle well you could get a cage round it just get one twice the size you would need then bend or cut it in to place should work

you don't need a guard for the light, just make sure they can't reach it.
If you use a guard with a lizard they can hold onto it and burn, you need a cage with snakes because they'll wrap around the bulb and get burnt.

I'd suggest you get a digital therm/hygrometer though, or even one of those pointer-gun-style ones. The setup its self looks beautiful though, very natural.

how did you fix the branches in place? im trying to find a decsent way rather that screwing them in place from the outside in
