my new little friend (uromastyx)
hi guys,
picked this guy up last nite, thanks to adam and vicky who i got him off! swapped his calci-sand for child safe playsand and swapped his light over. (only getting to 110F in the basking spot!) i did have a little 50w heat spotlamp thingy (lucky reptile) but that made temps hit over 150 (i dont have a dimmer at the mo, gonna go buy one tommorow!). within minutes of him going into a nice warm viv he perked right up and started tear arsing round like a little nutcase! just need to keep an eye on his eating now! anyway enjoy the pics guys, his such a handsome fella i think! gonna be a stunner when he matures! before i changed the bulb:   after:    thanks for looking!

cheers guys, cant believe how tame he is! part from the initial tail whip after the journey home hes been spot on!

Hi mate missing him already, but glad to see hes gone to a good home and has settled in ok. thanx for the photo's. keep us posted on his progress and take good care of the little fella!!
