Default BD & ZooMed Repit-sun 10%

Does a Bearded Dragon need UVA and UVB and does the ZooMed Repit-sun 10% give off UVA as well as the UVB it says in the writeups?

Is this the best UV tube for a beardie?

If so is the Compact version any good or is the tube still best?

Cheers

hi there, all white light sources give off UVA so thats not a problem and i would go for a 10 with a beardie and place it within 8inches or so of where th BD normally hangs out

the compact versions are good but, the same as a flourescent - they have an effective range. in a larger tank that you would need for a beardie a florescent would be the easiest option, as you can cover all of the tank with the one bulb

The Arcadia starter work in length of tube.

They also come in 1.5" or 1" diameters, so make sure you get the right one for the tube.

Livefood UK Ltd. link for you to have a look.
