ones from australia and ones from china

they look very different with the cwd's being a nice green, and the AWD's being more grey and orangey,

also i think they require different humidity and heating requirements

Having the latin names will make it easier to search for care sheets and see the differences yourself.

Australian is Physignathus lesueurii
Chinese is Physignathus cocincinus

Also a CWD grows quicker than an AWD, something to bear in mind if housing them together (which IS possible). The AWD's tend to get bigger than the CWD's but at a slower pace.

AWD's are a lot more hardy than the CWD's. they can handle lower humidity levels without a problem. My adult pair have around 50 - 60 % humidity all the time and they are healthy as can be...

They can also survive lower over night temps than the CWD's, there are even people who hibernate sub adults in the winter months with no problems... My house is around 18c and their heating and lights get turned off completely overnight, my male even has a nap in their after lights out sometimes and makes me paranoid that he is going to get too cold and drown!

Looks wise, as one of the above posts said, CWD's are green, AWD's are more grey/cream, black stripe down the side of the face and the males have a bright red belly...

Interesting comment about being able to house them together, never heard of it and although i personally would never do it i can see the logic in it as their basic requirements are pretty similar...

Yeah they are doing great... I have been keeping my eye on Bindii these past few days... She's digging a lot and having a few quabbles with Sheila but she gives it back... While Ned just watches

How's yours doing?
