Default beetle grubs for CWD?

hey all i just wondered if anybody had used beetle grubs to feed there cwds? i have noticed more and more pet shops have started selling them and am curious about there nutritional content. I was told that they were the equivalent to 12 waxworms but i would have thought they were more protein than fat? my female cwd is possibly gravid and my male needs feeding up cos he is skinny little thing! an my hubby breeds fruit beetles and a few other types so its basically a free food stuff. cheers all

old post but thought id bump it up, got some of these the other day as they had no waxies a jeepers they are huge! all the CWD's loved them,

thinkn about leaving the rest to turn into fruit beetles and keeping them cos ive heard they can be very colourful! dont know what species mine are but the grubs are about 2 to 3 inch long!
