Default bearded dragon digging

my bearded dragon keeps digging in the corner of the viv does not usually do this does anyone know why???

Is he/she housed with another?
Are the temps all correct? - Could be trying to get away from the heat.
Could just be bored, One of mine when younger liked to dig then would lie happily in the newly dug hole.

yeah i have two together get on great.always lying over eachother.temps are ok.just very strage seems to be digging and the other one is standing behnd watching then they both go away and ly on the bark

How old are they?
And do you know their sexes?
Continuous digging can sometimes suggest that a female is looking for somewhere to lay her eggs...

well one is def female and the other i got sexed yesterday as a male but could poss turn out to be female.they ar nearly 7 months.

Not a good idea to keep them together then as if they are female and male, the male will almost certainly try to breed with the female who will not be ready at that age, if she were to become gravid, she would be at a huge risk at her age.. It's best to get them seperated otherwise you will be risking your female dragons life and wellbeing.

i was trying to sell the female as i couldnt seperate them at mo but when i took em to pet shop he said the one i thought was male could turn out to be female so im not quite so sure now
