Default First Leo Egg - who's the father?

My first Leo egg arrived yesterday but I'm not 100% sure who the father is.

I bought her from a shop about 6 weeks ago - at the time I was told she may well be pregnant as the male she had been put in with had mated with her almost immediately. When we got her home she was put in with my male. I've seen him try to mate with her but she's rejected him every time - though what they get up to at night is anyone's guess.

All the info I've read says that they lay between 2-5 weeks after mating. Is that a strict rigid number or could this be from the shop's male 6-7 weeks ago?

To be honest she's never had any obvious signs of being gravid, the egg yesterday was a bit of a surprise.

I believe it's her first egg so not confident it will be fertiule, but it's looks healthy so far - nice and white and cooking in the incubator.

So You didn't quarrentine? You bought a gecko from a "shop" went home put her in with your male even though she had already been mated with the shop's male. So you have mixed two sperms from two different males, well females can hold sperm for several months.

I'll just grab my crystal ball to see who the father is......................................
They are going to be Hypo and normal hatchlings...............................

I fully understand your concern about the lack of quarantine. The female was bought from the same shop as the male and I was assured there wouldn't be problems placing her with my male. Obviously I now know better.

Fair enough mate at least you have learnt

Anyway honestly the only way you will find out what morph the father was is when the eggs hatch.

OK cheers - the original male was an albino - mine is a hypo, so we'll see what happens.
