Default Cost Of keeping Tokay

Folks, just wondering if you can advise as to how much it costs to keep a Tokay per week foodwise please? Also is there any other additional costs other than heating that you think it would need?

i reckon for one tokay you should go through at least 1-2 boxes of crickets per week my crickets cost me 2 quid a box from my local reptile shop.
for all 5 of my tokays i reckon i spend around 6-10 quid a week on crickets.
i couldnt tell you how much the heating costs just for tokays as i also heat alot of other animals too lol.
apart from the food you will need to get yourself a decent calcium/mineral/vitamin suppliment i use reptivite which costs between 10-20 quid depending on what size tub you get.a big tub should last you agess!

Not as expensive as some exotics.... you only use an ordinary bulb for heating during the day, low current for a heat mat on the back wall if you use one, no UV. Really as was said above, the main cost is food as they are good eaters. However I don't think mine ate like pigs and they were still in good health after a few years, so don't be too alarmed!
