Question Sexing leopard geckos! - by poo?
Hey, i saw somewere that you could sex a gecko by what their poo was like. It read something like, the male has a white bit that comes out when they poo. is this correct? and do females not have this?

... or is this 'bull' poo!

bit confused at the min lol

All lizards have the white bit.

The only way to sex a leo is by the vents near its tail and the pores above that vent.

haha.. i totaly disagree...

only yesterday my female had a pooh with a sweet cent of rosses, while my male have a pooh, and contained a pick up truck..

hehe.. sorry was hard to resist..

im sure it would be alot more pleasent to sex it by looking for the hemipenal bulges and the pre anal pores

I think maybe the person who said you can sex them by the white bits in the poo was maybe refering to sperm plugs which sometimes occur but i agree it isnt a very good way of sexing considering if a male can produce those it would be pretty obvious to the naked eye that its male!
