wow that was really nasty!!!!!
we have bark chippings fopr the snakes and have recently started feeding out of the viv. our frogs are kept on eco earth because that loose moss c p they sell in reptile shops can cause the same problem. we are planning on getting geckos and im so glad this has been shared, i wasnt going to use bark chippings but i had thought about calci sand, im thinking it may end up being papertowels or lino for them

i missed this thread first time round..
goodness... im so glad i opted for lino and eco earth.. chippings worry the life out of me.. i love the LOOK of them but its not worth the risk is it>
