Sorry to hear about your other one.

Leopard geckos are lovely and friendly as well as bearded dragons. There are big differences though what kind of lizard where you looking for size wise?

I know that Newts arnt exactly lizards, they are more amphibians, but they are really fun and some love to be handled!! I was holding one in a local fish shop and it almost fell asleep in my hand ^^ But geckos are nice, my gran has some wild living around her house, they are very cute!

I'd highly recommend a crested gecko, lovely little things. Mine loves to be handled

They are absolutly lovely, need the same size viv as a bearide.
Mine is dog tame and an absolute sweetie, definatly the best behaved animal in my house.

Easy to care for, don't need to eat live food as they enjoy cooked chicken, easy to handle because they can't jump or really run and they can stay out at room temps for a long time.

all round top pet.

BTS are nice. I have a month old baby and hes adorable. Although i have to say. I love my beardie just that little but more(Prolly cos I've had him years) Beardies are easy to care for, full of character and you can get some quite intresting morphs if you got the cash to spend

Although Leopard geckos are also very cool lizards, i personally found them a bit boring (let the flaming commence) as they are nocturnal but a lot of people love them Again, LOADS of lovely looking morphs out there, if you have th cash
