throat and inside mouth is as good as black. From doing a bit of googling it looks bad. Just spoke to the person I bought it off and she says its been like that for a while as she does not know reptiles so didn't think anything of it.

Thanks

Going to, i'll get it down there Monday morning. To be honest i'm a little upset about it all. She is a lovely looking bosc. This is what I got back in pm

"it had 2 boscs in there but my ex bought both of them and sold the other 1 to some bloke from worcester last week i just thought that was the colour of its throght but i dont no reptiles that much hope she does well and gets better keep me updated with her"

Cheers fingers crossed.... (although I think I know what the vet is going to say. Big shout to Reptile Taxi! You guys rule!)

Dave

Good luck mate.

To be honest I'm disgusted that it was sold to you in such a condition. The previous owner should have had itr seen to as soon as it was noticed.

Let us know how is goes at the vets. Tbh vets is the only sensible option.

Completely agree..although it was probably sold as it would be cheaper to buy a new bosc than a vet trip...I hate it when people do that

Hi all,

Just a brief update. Grace has pm'd me about the subject, and it looks like we are going to resolve the problem between our selfs. But I'll keep you updated on how the vets goes on monday.

Thanks for your support!

Good luck at the vets! I just hope it hasn't progressed all the way into the stomach yet. Mouth rot is easily treated in the early stages but is fatal if left for too long. I'm keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that all goes well for you and the little Bosc.
