Default Brown or black ??

Just after some opinions
I have been feeding my bds brown crickets and just about to order some more,my question is what is the difference between the brown and black crickets as the black seem to cost a little more?

I prefer Blacks. Apart from the meatiness as mentioned above, they are much slower and tend not to 'ping' about as much as Browns. Much easier for the animals to catch and much less likely to escape too

Aye those to are pluses about the black crickets but they are also more likely to bite

Blacks have a tendency to bite a little more, I've heard.

I feed them in a separate tub an will use tongs to pick them up

Ive been using Blacks for 4 years and have never had one biting incident

They CAN, but if they are well gut loaded or have something in the viv to nibble then it shouldnt be a problem

blacks are more nutrious.... and dont jump as much.... and are not as quick as browns! have u tried locusts?
